I'm a technologist at heart with a passion for emerging products and early stage companies.  Simple timing put me in the right place at the right time and gave me several opportunities to help shape the Internet during its formative years.  My education came via hands-on product development, a stint at NYU and side-by-side work with some of the most innovative minds in software.

    Quality Editorial, Quality Journalism

Every so often I read a piece of editorial or journalism that I simply must encourage the rest of you to read. Earlier today Mr. Ahmadinejad of Iran spoke at Columbia University, a school that is reknowned for its journalism and liberal talents. Liberal loones and right wing nuts alike protested, ranted, raved and all around made asses out of themselves. This man, as despised as he may be in this country, should be heard. He's the head of one of the largest, and most powerful countries in the middle east. He's denounced Jews, Americans and just about every single group living in NYC (there are quite a few for those who've never been).

I salute the New York Times, Columbia University and every single member of the NYC political and press core who stood up and said this is the United States of America, we salute free speech, we protect free speech and Mr. Ahmadinejad: “You exhibit all the signs of a petty and cruel dictator.”
