    Executive Order: Blocking Property of Certain Persons Who Threaten Stabilization Efforts in Iraq

    The White House passed a lay Tuesday allowing it to seize property or possessions of anyone found to committed various threats in or against Iraq. This executive order allows the Secretary of the Treasury to seize everything from someone found to "undermine efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform" in Iraq. The government is under no obligation to provide the reasoning or justify the decision to seize the property.
