I'm a technologist at heart with a passion for emerging products and early stage companies.  Simple timing put me in the right place at the right time and gave me several opportunities to help shape the Internet during its formative years.  My education came via hands-on product development, a stint at NYU and side-by-side work with some of the most innovative minds in software.

    Open Hulu

Over the last year I've spent more and more time watching TV and movies over the Internet. When you spend well over 50 days a year in airports and hotels you look for alternate forms of amusement, particularly when you are trying to reduce your travel budget and staying in "boutique" hotels (my most recent hotel has 4 channels on the TV).

There has been a decent amount of recent press for Hulu, but it is a closed beta. Hulu is being built by NBC and Fox as a destination for online versions of TV, but it is currently closed. The goal behind Hulu is also to allow sharing of the content through the web, exposing their commercials to more and more eyes. However, OpenHulu offers you an alternative. Check out the below Simpon's episode and then navigate on over to OpenHulu for more fun content.
