I'm a technologist at heart with a passion for emerging products and early stage companies.  Simple timing put me in the right place at the right time and gave me several opportunities to help shape the Internet during its formative years.  My education came via hands-on product development, a stint at NYU and side-by-side work with some of the most innovative minds in software.

What Exactly Does the Windows XP EULA Mean?

I'd say maybe 1 in ever million people actually takes the time to read an End User's License Agreement. If you're like me you've perfected the process of hunting for the little "agree" check-box and hitting next. Through the thousands, and I do mean thousands, of EULA's I've had to accept, I've read maybe 5.

And if you have ever taken a look at Microsoft's, you'd know why. Someone over at Linux Advocate has taken the time to explain just what the hell the EULA actually means. And it turns out its a contract between you and Microsoft, that Microsoft can break at will. Nice one.
