    Northrop Grumman to Provide Wireless Safety Net to NYC

    FCW.com has an article about a recent contract granted to Northrop to provide a wireless communications network to cover all of NYC. In light of the massive communications failures from 9/11 this is long over-due. The network is described as being capable of supporting everything from full streaming video to anti-terrorism and all necessary communications between departments such as fire and police. Emergency management in NYC just got a little more efficient, and for only $500 million.
