Ad Supported Free Downloads Get Major Backing

Universal Music Group announced today that it would support SpiralFrog. Ad supported free downloads is the latest trend to be adopted by the Music Industry. Universal, who's catalog of artists includes U2, Eminem and many others, is the first to throw public support behind this endeavor. Having to listen to "contextually relevant" ads for free music doesn't sound that bad, but just how free is the music? Can I put it on my iPod, or move it to my laptop? What overly protective DRM scheme am I going to have to swallow this time?
