    Beam me up, Scotty

    Yahoo! news is reporting that Danish scientists have successfully teleported a information from light to matter over half a meter. Although this article has very few details as to what was actually accomplished, it does explain that they were able to move billions of atoms using a mechanism involving teleportation between light and matter.

    If it means never having to go to the airport again, I'll gladly volunteer to be a guinea pig.
